3D-VAT printing of nanocomposites by photopolymerisation processes using amino-meta-terphenyls as visible light-absorbing photoinitiators

In this article, the application of 10 new amino-m-terphenyls in 3D-VAT printing was described. New compounds have specially designed D-π-A structure, where central phenyl ring with nitrile and amino groups is acceptor modifiable group donor. Such design eliminates problem acid scavenging guaranteed desire properties photoactivity as well it allows further development such system for printing. Efficient excitation intramolecular charge transfer provides excellent absorption electrochemical properties, which can be tuned by modification group. The photoinitiation free radical, hybrid especially cationic polymerisation even at 455 nm more than 70% monomer conversion. allow to use developed efficient visible light photoinitiators 3D nanocomposite materials. terphenyls efficiently cure resins containing CuO Al2O3 nano additives leading high-resolution prints.
